Description
Become a data analytics “rock star”! Audit technology and the use of data analytics to drive better business transparency is now a key component of an effective audits – both large and small. Auditors effectively deploying these analytics, particularly with the use of AI, data visualization, and risk scoring techniques, can measurably demonstrate audit effectiveness while also moving beyond just sample selections. In this course, we will explore the application of technology across the full spectrum of audit activities including planning and risk assessment, internal controls assessment, substantive testing, and reporting. He also hosts a bi-weekly podcast show, “The Walden Pond”, which focuses on compliance innovation and is an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School teaching on compliance technology & innovation.

In 2000, Ms. Kroboth designed and built “big data” systems that allow investigators to proactively identify fraudulent practices in medical billings and workers’ compensation.
